     For a couple of months, I had been looking for just the right dog to adopt and add to our family. I received an alert about a new Neo-Mastiff that was available for adoption, and after reading her bio I decided to give her foster parents a call. We talked for a while, and I immediately knew she was the one. Only problem was she was located eight hours away, but her foster parents went above and beyond and met me half way with her so I could adopt her. She's the biggest sweetheart and has completely stolen my heart. She was in pretty rough shape from being abandoned, but we took her to the vet and have everything she needs to get her healthy again. She's starting to put on healthy weight and gaining more energy everyday. I love watching her personality come out more and more as trust is established everyday. Both of our dogs are rescues. They are the best dogs in the world. I will forever only adopt. Thank you Rescue Me for being a wonderful resource to help make the difference in dogs' lives. Our family is bigger and happier thanks to you.

     As a Humane Society, we are overloaded with requests from individuals regarding re-homing. We are not a shelter, but rather a low-cost clinic, pet food pantry, dog training facility that works to keep families together so surrendering to a shelter is the last resort. After having discovered this fabulous resource, I've referred a few pet owners to Rescue Me. Cooper was tied to our fence in the middle of the night, but I just couldn't send him to the county shelter, because his age would probably have prevented them from easily adopting him out. He also had various health issues that needed addressing, and some behavioral problems with larger dogs (only). He is such a love and perfectly behaved in every other way. Luckily, our veterinarian was able to bring him to a healthy state, and our dog trainer was able to work with him for a few weeks. We received many inquiries via the Rescue Me website. All of the interested parties were quality pet owners with a sincere desire to help Cooper. I can't tell you how impressed i was with the efficiency of your service, as I started receiving those inquiries almost immediately. As it turned out, Cooper's new family lives right here in St. Augustine. They are a perfect match for Cooper. Thank you, Jeff Gold, for creating this site. It is such a wonderful alternative to shelter relinquishment, as it allows the pet owner to have control over who adopts their furbaby.

     After receiving messages from different people and reviewing their situations, my family decided to contact Diane and Scott, a great couple who was looking for a companion for their Saint Bernard, Zeus. After talking to them the very first time, I knew they were the ones. They invited us to their home to meet Luna and my family. The encounter was a success. They loved Luna and Zeus went crazy. Everything is now better for us all. My family is so pleased that we found this family. Thank you also to Jeff Gold for creating Rescue Me and giving owners the opportunity to relocate our loving pets into wonderful homes.

     Thank you so much, Rescue Me! I found my Mastiff a wonderful new home and I couldn't be happier. The lady and her husband drove 5 1/2 hours to get her. They already bought her a life vest so she can swim in their pool, and are having her fitted for a front leg wheel chair device.      I am so grateful to the 'Rescue Me!' organization in helping me to rehome my little girl. I was very lucky in finding my girl a forever home. So much better for her as she has love 24/7. My job did not allow me to give her the attention she needs. She is a awesome loving still puppy albeit 130 lbs. at least. She needed one on one time with a real family. My thanks and love go out to my friends 'Rescue Me!', Sherry, Sara, and of course Paul and his awesome family.      Rescue Me! helped us find a loving for our boy Mack. We tried on our own to find a wonderful home for him but were unsuccessful. A friend of ours pointed us in the direction of Rescue Me! It only took a week to find a new home for Mack, and I think the one we found is the right one for him. Thanks so much for allowing us to post our boy here.

     I can only thank Jeff Gold for allowing all of us to be able to post our four-legged friends at no charge.This is a respected site by those of us who have used it, either posting or seeking our furry friends a family. Rescue Me! is so outstanding because #1) Jeff Gold takes the time to send out an email inquiring about our loved one and, #2) those who use this site know the others that use it are honestly looking for the best place, best person, family to adopt and care for their beloved friend as much as we do. This is nothing like Craigslist where people post false ads or purposely set out to do harm, this site is outstanding for not allowing that in. I am extremely happy and comfortable with the families I entrusted to become my puppies new family. Best of all is the tips that this site posts for all of us such as asking about animals owned in the past, what became of them, ask for their vets name all excellent points and more. I take my hat off to all who have a part in the operation of this site. I say THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU and a GIANT THANK-YOU to all that run and volunteer at Rescue Me!      Dear Mr. Gold, this is a GREAT program you run. I've wanted a mastiff since I got out of college 20 years ago. I'm now 40 and have 6, well 5 daughters, and my sixth one on the way. I stumbled on to this site after our local pound got in a neo and I went and seen him everyday, took my kids and whole nine yards. Anyway after sitting in the parking lot for an hour and a half his owners called ten minutes before he come up for adoption which is a good thing but in was crushed, I feel in love as soon as I saw him which is then why I got on my computer and found your site. I signed up for the instant alert [which an awesome thing] my gorgeous neo popped up and it so happen it was only bout 40 miles away over in Ohio. I called the owner and asked about a million questions, too many I'm sure. She was super nice on the phone, I loaded up my 2 youngest daughters (1 and 2) in the truck and took off. As soon as we met the new pup its was like she had known us her whole life. Anyway in short, she is smothering me right now on my lap with laptop on her back. She has not a worry in the world. We have 180 acres that she now owns. Shes going to be great.....thank you so much for offering a program like you do...I thank you sir......I dont have much to give you but I'm going to send a donation in the mail, its not much but like I said I have 6 daughters........thanks again sir from the family.      Meme found just the right person. I feel so thankful that she understood exactly what she was in for, but took the challenge head on to make sure everyone was happy. It is so important to be honest about what kind of problems your dog is having, and if the dog is aggressive and possessive, it is your obligation to tell it as it is. There are so many wonderful people who can take these dogs and understand what is missing in their lives and give them what they need. I felt so guilty about having to give her up, due to her being alpha female and intimidating and attacking my female senior English Mastiff. I so appreciate the neopolitan mastiff rescue for what they stand for and are successfully doing. I also want to thank the lady from Charleston, West Virginia who gave Meme a second chance.
