     Rescue Me! helped us find a loving for our boy Mack. We tried on our own to find a wonderful home for him but were unsuccessful. A friend of ours pointed us in the direction of Rescue Me! It only took a week to find a new home for Mack, and I think the one we found is the right one for him. Thanks so much for allowing us to post our boy here.

     Having been referred to Rescue Me! and just signing up, I must say, 'Thank you.' The responses that were received were overwhelming. It was a wonderful opportunity for Koz, and the beauty was things worked out with his momma and hopefully he will become the dog I know, loving and not stressed about life.

     I can only thank Jeff Gold for allowing all of us to be able to post our four-legged friends at no charge.This is a respected site by those of us who have used it, either posting or seeking our furry friends a family. Rescue Me! is so outstanding because #1) Jeff Gold takes the time to send out an email inquiring about our loved one and, #2) those who use this site know the others that use it are honestly looking for the best place, best person, family to adopt and care for their beloved friend as much as we do. This is nothing like Craigslist where people post false ads or purposely set out to do harm, this site is outstanding for not allowing that in. I am extremely happy and comfortable with the families I entrusted to become my puppies new family. Best of all is the tips that this site posts for all of us such as asking about animals owned in the past, what became of them, ask for their vets name all excellent points and more. I take my hat off to all who have a part in the operation of this site. I say THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU and a GIANT THANK-YOU to all that run and volunteer at Rescue Me!      Thank you all for the responses regarding my Neapolitan. Within 3 hours of posting him I had several inquiries. Smokey found a new home with a beautiful female Neapolitan around the same age. He is living with a lovely family who desperately wanted a friend for their female. Thank you also to Rescue Me!, without your site, Smokey may have never found his new family!!

     Dear Mr. Gold, this is a GREAT program you run. I've wanted a mastiff since I got out of college 20 years ago. I'm now 40 and have 6, well 5 daughters, and my sixth one on the way. I stumbled on to this site after our local pound got in a neo and I went and seen him everyday, took my kids and whole nine yards. Anyway after sitting in the parking lot for an hour and a half his owners called ten minutes before he come up for adoption which is a good thing but in was crushed, I feel in love as soon as I saw him which is then why I got on my computer and found your site. I signed up for the instant alert [which an awesome thing] my gorgeous neo popped up and it so happen it was only bout 40 miles away over in Ohio. I called the owner and asked about a million questions, too many I'm sure. She was super nice on the phone, I loaded up my 2 youngest daughters (1 and 2) in the truck and took off. As soon as we met the new pup its was like she had known us her whole life. Anyway in short, she is smothering me right now on my lap with laptop on her back. She has not a worry in the world. We have 180 acres that she now owns. Shes going to be great.....thank you so much for offering a program like you do...I thank you sir......I dont have much to give you but I'm going to send a donation in the mail, its not much but like I said I have 6 daughters........thanks again sir from the family.      Meme found just the right person. I feel so thankful that she understood exactly what she was in for, but took the challenge head on to make sure everyone was happy. It is so important to be honest about what kind of problems your dog is having, and if the dog is aggressive and possessive, it is your obligation to tell it as it is. There are so many wonderful people who can take these dogs and understand what is missing in their lives and give them what they need. I felt so guilty about having to give her up, due to her being alpha female and intimidating and attacking my female senior English Mastiff. I so appreciate the neopolitan mastiff rescue for what they stand for and are successfully doing. I also want to thank the lady from Charleston, West Virginia who gave Meme a second chance.

Comparing to other adoption sites, yours is comprehensive, free, easy to use and free of commercial bias. I almost went with a couple of other Neo adoption sites, until I stumble upon some consistently negative reviews. I was glad that I found your site. In fact, I had checked out the other animals like horses and Australian Shepherd on your site for adoption, just in case in the near future we are in the capacity to own animals again.
