Despite its intimidating appearance, the Neapolitan Mastiff is a loving family guardian. A Neapolitan Mastiff does best with a master who has experience with dogs and exudes leadership. This breed can be socialized to get along well with children and other pets, but two males of this species will butt heads. Neapolitan Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
